Watchdog is an action adventure video game developed by ubisoft montreal and published by ubisoft. it was released worldwide on 27th may,2014 for Xbox, playstation 4 and pc. WII u version was released on november,2014.
The game is played form third person player prespective and its world navigated by on foot or by vehicle.
develop on the game began in 2009.as part of their research for the open world. the developers conducted fields research around chicago through out development and captured footage for the design team. duties were shared between many of ubisoft's studios worldwide.
following its announcement in june 2012.watch dog was highly anticipated. at release it received a polarized reception, praise was particularly directed at the game's hacking elements and mission variety. the game received criticism concerning discrepancy in graphics quality between marketing and real game and also concerning overall gameplay,plot.protagonist and some thecnical issues. watch dogs was a commercial success, breaking record for the biggest first day sales of a ubisft game. and becoming the biggest launch of intellectual property of united kingdom at the time. as of 1st january, 2015 the game has shipped over 10 millions copies.
Plot:
Aiden pearce a grey hat hacker who can hack into the 'cto s' a centralized operating system which manages the hyper connected city of chicago, allowing upto eight players to engage in both cooperative and competitive gameplay in recreation of a single player setting.
aiden pearce loses his niece in a brutual car crash. aiden realizes it is not an accident, it was a murder. using his hacking skills player can blow pipes hack communication system and inevitably fight a system called 'ctos' which controls the city of chicago.

My reveiw:
this game is very one way addictive. at begining this game seems very complicated and the storyline looks very dull.but progressing through the game it becomes intersting. very good arranged city and nice set of wheels.driving motion is way too smooth. player movement and combat is top notch. very immersive gameplay a different genre from othEr open world games but the story line was way average.for me this game one for your wishlist. a copmlete gamer must play this....
