Mafia III is an action adventure video gamegame developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games for Microsoft Window, Playstation 4, Xbox One and Mac OS. The game was released on October 7,2016, and recieved mixed critical respons. The Mac OS version was released on May 11,2017.The game was first rumored in August 2011. In November 2012,2k cech the developer of original Mafia and Mafia II announced that the company was working on top secret, AAA game. However the company was later resurrected on January 10,2014 and the main studio in Prague was shuttered, with resources being allocated to anew headquarters in Novato, California. A new studio called Hangar 13 was established by 2K games in Novato in the same year.Headed by Haden Blackman, who previously work with Lucas arts, the studio was said to be working on a new project. Hangar 13 and 2k Games wanted to stay true to the quality that many users expected over the previous games. The game uses the graphics software Simplygon. The development team were interested in creating a world based on New Orleans,and eventually decided in setting the game in 1968. The tean used a collection of old photographs to recreate the woeld. Various alterations to the world were made to suit the narrative: the bayou and the city have been positioned at close proximity, despite being at a further distance in real Louisiana ; the superdome stadium was being constructed in 1968, but us excluded from the game. The team intended the world to be accessible for high speed chases the team also wanted to move away from stereotypical Italian mafia scene and represent a different side of gang-related crime scenarios. Another aspect of setting a special tone and atmosphere in the game has been the choice of liscensed music. Haden Blackman indicated that mafia III will include a " ton of great music" from the sixties
Plot :
Its 1968 and the rules have changed. After years of combat in Vietnam,Linocln Clay knows this truth : Family isn't who you're born with,it's who you die for. Noww back home in New Bordeaux, Lincoln is set on escaping a criminal Past, But when his surrogate family,the Black Mob, is betrayed and wiped out by Italian Mafia, Lincoln blazes a path of revenge and redemption through the mafioso responsible. It will take more than a few friends to mke it in this new world. Intense gun fights, visceral hand to hand combat, white knuckle driving, and street smarts will all be needed. But with the right crew, though decisions, and some dirty hands, it's possible to make it to the top of the city's underworld. It's time to create a new family on the ashes of the old.Joining him are his underbosses Cassandra,Thomas Burke and Vito Scalleta.

I am a huge fan of Mafia franchise. I really enjoyed playing this game. But gameplay was very long and same. Just capture mob bosses. But the storyline was very good and get along with the Mafia theme. Betrayal, revenge and emotions this game got it all. Graphics is very good.
Overall this game is good and can be play.If you are a Mafia franchise fan then you should play....
